Happy Friday Follies! Well, here we go again. I’m having fun and hope you are. I look forward every week to reading your comments and I appreciate so much your kind remarks. I hope you’re all doing great, loving life, and taking care of yourselves.

Despite all the craziness these days, there is still much goodness in the world if we look for it. I recently read an article about a 12-year-old boy in West Virginia who needed to go to Texas for a fifth brain surgery. Local truckers donated time and money to help – and we want to thank John Ellison at WVRC for posting that convoy video. These road warriors only confirm my thoughts about truckers. Traveling as many miles as we did while touring, so many times it was a trucker that would help when we were stuck on the side of the road. That’s why I wrote “I Never Met A Trucker I Didn’t Like.” By the way, we recently made available a beautifully designed print of it on our websites. Truckers are so important and are too often overlooked. They are the backbone of this country and I’ll bet most of them individually would deserve the title of “One of the Good Guys.”

No, we haven’t forgotten about Episode 4 of Distinctively Donna, but we’re glad you’re keeping up. There are just a few more deadlines we have to reach first, but hang in there with us. We will get to it as soon as we can and we thank you for caring about it.

In the meantime, remember that life is on your side and God is too. I believe He really loves us more than we can imagine, and He commanded us to love one another. After all, “Love knows no door that it cannot open and no broken heart that it cannot heal.” I know you’ve heard that before, but you can never hear it too much. Right?
Love,
Donna
