Gayle Thurber asked a question about one of my beautiful lamps in a picture of me recently. It Is (to answer your specific question) an “angel” lamp. I felt so fortunate when we bought it. It’s signed by BEER as evidenced on the some kind of heavy silver metal with what looks like an inlay of streaked marble. She’s holding what looks like a torch that goes under the shade. I love this lamp too. Thank you, Gayle.
I want to quote something that I wrote for the new calendar…
“I know God will bless us as we move forward. We will make wise choices, love on purpose, and never give up. We will reach our goals, keep dreaming, continue working and staying healthy, keep believing and trusting as we embrace our hopes and dreams and live this wonderful gift called life.”
Well, it looks like I’ll be signing calendars for awhile judging from the orders. Thank you for trusting our judgment and feelings about it. I know it’s different, but then I never wanted to create something just ordinary. I think I’m a people pleaser and can’t help it, so I hope it will please you.
Since it’s February, our “Valentine” month, let’s try to “outlove” each other beginning with February and continuing on. Let’s show our love in thoughtful ways by speaking sincere words of love followed by our commensurate actions. Let’s display an uplifting attitude, and may every job we do invoke excellence to be our best so that quitting and giving up are not friendly with our psyche and behaviors. After all, we respect others and ourselves, and our pattern of conduct will cause us to move forward and survive life’s challenges triumphantly. Let’s SHOW UP and always be a light in this impersonal and sometimes dark and crazy, mixed-up world. Our country needs all the light it can get now, and we should do our part to provide it.
I wish you all heart hugs and chocolate kisses to celebrate this love dovey month. I wish you favor and opportunities to make your dreams come true. I wish you whatever you wish for, like good health, safety, prosperity, and peace of mind. But when it’s all said and done, if I had to choose just one thing, most of all…I wish you love.
I also prayed for you today and gave thanks for every one of you who have touched my life in such positive ways. May God be with you every step of the way!
