Hey Everybody!  Hope you’re all wonderful and life is good.  We’ve been busy little beavers trying to come up with things we hope you’ll like – in fact the jean jacket I’m wearing in the picture is one of those items.  We love it so much that we took a chance and ordered some extras for you to buy too.

And thank you to those of you who’ve bought the heart bracelet and cross bracelet. FYI, they go great with the jacket, too.  Brenda and Linda and I just love ours.  Linda’s friend liked hers so much, she took Linda’s off her arm!

Some of you were having conversations about certain songs on the PrimaDonna Entertainment Corp post titled “Where the Songs Begin…” I thought I would join in and answer some of the questions over the next few weeks in the Friday Follies.  So we’ll take Bruce’s first since he was the first to comment.

Bruce said, “’Honeychild’ has always been one of my favorite songs that Donna has written. I was curious if she really did know an Uncle Tommy or is the song about a fictitious person and a fictitious situation?

There was a real person named Tommy who lived near us where I grew up.  He would come by the house sometimes.  The details in the song were totally from my imagination.  I wanted to include stuff that I thought people should think about, like that last line “if Jesus Christ was black.”  This is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written.  I think it’s an important song about life.

I’ll talk about one of the other songs y’all mentioned next week.  I love it when I’m asked questions.  Then I don’t have to figure out what I think you want me to talk about.

Okay.  See you next week.  Stay safe and always happy!

Love you so!

Donna
