Hey Everybody,

Well, it’s Friday, and you know what that means, so welcome to Friday Follies again!  I’ll keep it short, but I hope you’re all doing great and staying in the best of health.  We’re all okay here, and we’re looking forward to seeing those of you who are planning to attend the November 1st event at 12:00 noon at the Country Music Hall of Fame.  Because it’s a timed event and it’s suggested to last only about 45 minutes, my homework is to keep the discussion of 7 songs within that time frame.  I really appreciate the opportunity to participate in this Songwriter Session series, and I thank you guys once again who sent me some of your favorites when I asked you a couple months ago.  Most important though is this…Be careful, stay safe, and most of all have fun while you’re here.

On another note, I wanted to share something with you that I think is extraordinary.  Last Friday, October 17, Brenda was working, and when I was coming through the hallway, she said, “Come here and look!”  And there was a big, beautiful rainbow inside my kitchen.  INSIDE THE KITCHEN!!!  It was amazing.  We were both speechless.  It was big and red with a little yellow, green, and bluish purple or just blue.  She took pictures of it so you wouldn’t think I’m crazy.  Have you ever heard of rainbows inside a house?  It hadn’t rained that I remember – I mean I guess we often associate rainbows with rain – but I’ve never heard of a rainbow INSIDE THE HOUSE!  Have you?  But it made us both feel so blessed that we got to see it.  We thought maybe Brenda’s mom who died recently might have bumped into Stan up in Heaven, and they decided to let us know that they’re up there and Heaven’s a wonderful place and they’re just fine.  Anyway, look at these pictures!

Love to all!

Donna
