Hey to all my Friday Follies Friends –
I hope you’re all doing great and taking good care of yourselves. This last Saturday, June 7, we had the best time at the Nashville Nightlife Dinner Theater out near Opry Mills. It was the 11th Annual Country with Heart event to raise money for St. Jude. During the meet and greet, I got to spend some time with several of my long-time friends like Everett Drake (one of my fabulous back-up singers), Charlie McCoy, Rex Allen Jr., Barbara Fairchild, John Schneider and Ava Barber. Jennifer and Bobby sure know how to throw a party. It was a packed house full of the nicest people.
I was interviewed by some top-notch media personalities like Mr. Nashville (Larry Ferguson), Scot England and Renae Johnson from True Country Music News, Brent Adams with K-Love Radio, Robin Tanner with Cashbox and Cross Country Music News. It was also really good to talk to Jeff Womack again from RFD Market Day Report.
In my 3 ½ hours of signing autographs, I was happy to see so many familiar faces and also have the opportunity to make some new friends – the nicest people from all over our great country – from California to New York to Montana and all the places in between. With the help of Doug Smith who took the pictures, many are included here. Thank you, Doug!
