Happy Friday Follies, January 16, 2026! Hey Hey Hey! I hope you’ve all survived the transition from 2025 to 2026 and you’re on the road again back to a comfortable state of normalcy. We’re busy as beavers here trying to get organized and keep up with all the things going on.
I am so happy that you’re loving our new stuff:
1. The latest single called “You Can Count on Me” is now #4 on Cashbox.
2. My first novel, HEARTACHES & MIND STORMS – somebody asked me if I write another novel would I keep some of the characters from this one and just write about where life takes them as they grow older? That’s a great question, and I’ve thought about it actually, but I haven’t made up my mind.
3. And it’s really been interesting to revisit the show that we were able to share with you on the LIVE cd. The memories of being on the road and meeting so many of you fill my heart every time I listen to it. I’ve always had such great audiences and I loved to get them singing along with me on stage. I think music takes us away and for that hour or so people share joy and laughter and get a short reprise from a world that sometimes feels uncertain. I appreciate it so much when somebody tells me which songs I’ve written that have touched their lives.
4. And then there’s my new Blue Mountain Arts 2026 Calendar, GOD IS ALWAYS WATCHING OVER YOU. It has beautiful illustrations and the writings for each month are taken from some of my books and greeting cards.
5. And speaking of calendars, we may have our copies of my new colorful and very cool DF calendar next week. It’s at the printers now. It’s called LOVE YOUR LIFE – MAKE EVERY DAY BEAUTIFUL. It’s also a Blessings Journal for 2026, and it’s 44 pages!
6. And we have a new picture!!! Whew!!! Do you think that’s enough? 6 new things that we hope you’ll love. I am so thankful for your support, and I thank you for being my friend.
