Happy Friday Follies!  The sun is shining and it’s a skippety do da day!  Hope your day is full of sunshine, too.  Thank you to the Tennessee Baptist Disaster Relief crew that cleaned up the fallen trees including the one that was on my house!  What wonderful people sharing their testimony and faith in God.

Somebody asked me recently, “What’s it like being on stage entertaining people who’ve come to see you.  They know you, but you might not know them?”

For me, being on stage is the perfect storm.  You’re excited, a little scared, a little nervous, so happy.   You’re giving of yourself.  Doing the best you can.  You’re living your dream, sharing with people who care.  They spent their time and money to come to see you.  You feel special and you want to make them feel special; you get to spend about an hour with them, just singing your heart out and seeing people smile and enjoy themselves.  The band is great, and you all get to entertain them, get lost in them, with the sounds of music and the feelings of life.  Wow! Life is just right.  And you just say, “Thank You, God.”

Have a blessed week and I’ll see you back here next Friday!

Love,

Donna
