Hey Everybody….Happy Friday Follies to you!

          I hope you’re all healthy and safe and happy, free from worry and anxiety, and wrapped in the arms of love.  It’s almost Christmas 2024, and we’re about to say goodbye to another year and mark our own calendar time as one year older.  Hot diggity dog!  And in my heart and mind for all of you, I believe the best is yet to come!

          Well, I’ve gotta’ say I’m glad to be back home!  If these three fractures have to hurt this bad, at least I can find a favorite chair surrounded by all my clutter to keep me distracted. 

          I want to thank all of you who’ve sent me cards for my birthday, get well, and Christmas, and I appreciate all the sweet messages on Facebook.  I read every one of them and stored them in my heart space.  Thank you also to those of you who sent me beautiful flowers when I was in the hospital and rehab and now at home.  You spoil me with your kindness, and I love you more than I know how to tell you.

         I will still be receiving physical and occupational therapy for I don’t know how long.  I can’t wait to get life back to normal and can walk without assistance and just feel better, but I know it will take some time so I have to be patient.  My message as a result of all this is slow down and be sure you try to protect yourself from falling.

          Even though I’m officially out of captivity, I am still a little more constrained than I’d like…so I decided to distract myself by cleaning out my closet.  Some of you have asked when we would put up some more items in the Distinctively Donna Store, so now is the time.   I’ve found 5 things I think you’ll like….there’s something sparkly, something cool, funky, warm and well – irresistible for one of you fashionistas.  We decided to do them all as auctions, plus we’ve marked down some of the other items that were already listed.   Have fun shopping.

          Here in Fargo land, you know how we try to have something new when we can.  And we have these little keychains that are the cutest things I’ve ever seen, and they were created just so you can feel “heart hugged” all day long wherever you are.

          Merry Christmas to the sweetest people in the universe.  Celebrate with all your heart and have a fabulous new year!  Thank you again for your prayers and everything you’ve done for me.
