Hey to all my Friends! It’s Friday, and that means it’s time for Friday Follies. I hope you’re all well and happy and as healthy as can be.

If the weather has been as stormy where you are as it has been here, you’re probably like us in Music City, you wish it would just go away. I mean Holy Macaroni, it’s been bad – relentless rain, thunder and lightning, dangerous winds, and tornadoes. Like, for the last couple of nights, the “safe” spot didn’t even feel safe and it was boring sitting in the hallway just listening to it talk its weather language.

Well, enough about the weather. I say bring on summertime with lots of sunshine. Hot diggity dog! Yeah.

It kinda’ reminds you of the stormy weather in life though, huh? Like the rough spots we all go through at one time or another, the changes we’d rather not have to make but we have to, the crappy stuff that we have to adjust to that just happens and nobody asked you if you could handle it, the challenges that test us and make demands on us that cause you to wonder about the wisdom of your decisions, the questions that you need to answer and there’s no one who can help because they belong to you and not someone else. And even though you know that thousands of others have gone through some of the same things too, that doesn’t make it any easier. Then there’s that always accompanying rain, like the tears we cry sometimes that water the landscape of our lives or the weather that soaks an already soggy ground.

Yeah, I guess the good part is when it’s just stormy weather, at least it changes and most of the time sooner rather than later. And we know it can ALWAYS be worse because we have memories, so we’ll deal with the weather.

Well, Crapper Doodles, they just announced another tornado warning. Here we go again. Hallway, here I come.

To switch horses, in answer to some of your questions, yes, the 2025 calendar is almost finished, but we think you’ll really like it when you finally get to see it. After all, it’s a 2025 calendar and the year’s not half over yet. Okay, so we’re slow.

Hey, thank you for all the downloads on “You Can Count on Me,” and thank you all who have ordered the cd. Thanks for streaming, too. I’m loving the ideas I’m hearing about your lip-sync videos. This is going to be fun. I’m so glad you want to dance with me. Ha Ha.

Until next week, don’t forget to love on purpose and be blessed to the bone.

Love, love, love,
Donna
