Hi Everybody! And Happy Friday Follies!
We hope you’re all doing great and by now are really getting settled into the new year. We’re enjoying the snow-covered landscape here in Nashville, just not so much the freezing cold. And I heard one report that said that it will just about repeat this stuff again in the next few days. After the power outage, I was rescued by some wonderful friends and I was extremely grateful. I’m sure lots of people were and maybe still are going through the same thing. Oddly enough, when we were out, the roads had been cleared for the most part, so we’re all so thankful for that. Several sweet guys were cutting up the limbs and trees around the house and driveway. I am so fortunate and I don’t know how to express my thanks for their kindness. I still have two big trees lying on the roof on both sides of our house, but they didn’t break any windows and hopefully didn’t do much damage to the roof, so I’ll investigate that further when some of this stuff thaws out.
On another note, we’re so excited that my LOVE YOUR LIFE 2026 CALENDAR AND BLESSINGS JOURNAL just came. It’s spiral bound and 44 pages! It’s soooo cool, and we hope you’ll like it. Brenda did such a great job of putting it all together.
And just to keep our prayer partners up to date, we have been informed that Dan DelSontro has been released from the hospital and Donna Hiatt’s brother is scheduled to be moved to a rehab facility tomorrow. When you’re sick, you want all the prayers you can get, so they wanted us to thank you again for those who took your time to pray for them. And I appreciate your kindness, so thank you! I’m so thankful to know the most special people anywhere – YOU! To me it’s a privilege to pray for anyone who needs God’s help.
I have one more favor to ask our prayer partners. Our friend and favorite writer Niles Reddick had a stroke on Tuesday while driving. Although he’s out of the hospital now, please join us in our prayers for him to make a full recovery without any compromise.
And Vonnie Watson, I appreciate your questions and I’ll answer those next week.
