Well, hey, hey, hey Everybody for joining us on the Friday Follies train again, so here we go…This will probably be a long thank you card to all of you for sending me your sweet and beautiful birthday messages on Facebook, in cards and notes, and other means of communication. Thank you so much to my wonderful family and friends, fans of my music and books and cards for checking in on me and sending me happy birthday wishes. I was so pleased to hear from our friends from New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and France who sent me birthday greetings and to let us know that there are country music enthusiasts outside the USA. So, welcome to Friday Follies every one of you! We send our love right back to you! By the way, I did an interview today with Tommy Rosney, a radio guy from Ireland. He was so cool. I was excited to talk to him and hope you had a chance to listen.
And…thank you also to the djs for getting in touch to let me know that they are still playing my music, so Yahooooo! Thank you for allowing your listeners to hear me from my first record on and for giving me an audience to make my dream come true. I will always be so grateful to you. Birthdays always remind me that we should celebrate every day, and I hope you all do! And to all of you other November-born children, Happy Everything!
Here in Fargo land, we’ve been really busy trying to put together some things to display in the Legends of Country Music Museum for the event on Saturday, November 22nd at 2:00 pm. The public is invited for the unveiling and a meet-and-greet, so I look forward to seeing those of you who have made your plans to attend.
