Hey Everybody! Happy Friday Follies!
I have an event coming up on Nov. 1st at the Country Music Hall of Fame to discuss my songwriting. I have been asked to talk about 7 of the songs I’ve written individually, meaning both melody and lyrics, what inspired them, the success of each song, and any story related to them. I have no problem discussing them, but I had no idea how hard it would be to choose 7.
I’m trying to narrow down my choices, and I’d be so interested to know from those of you who really know my music to tell me your favorite DF-written songs. If you have only 2 or 3 or whatever #, just tell me those. I am scheduled to finalize everything very soon, so if you have the time and would like to participate in this exercise, it would really tickle me to know your seven favorites.
