Hey to all my Friday Follies Friends! I hope everything’s going great for every one of you despite all this heat. It’s 98 degrees here in Nashville today, but as I always say…it’s just weather and it will change soon enough, so enough about the weather. I have lots of things to talk about with you.
First, today I was fortunate enough to visit with Eric Dahl from Rock & Review, a nationally syndicated tv show that tapes at Fox 17 in Nashville. He was so very nice and here are some pictures. We’ll let you know as soon as we know when my interview will air. After our fun with Eric, Brenda and I went shopping of course. But Jennifer is keeping me so busy I need new stuff, right?
On a different subject, as I told you before, I had to say goodbye to one of my favorite nieces, Denise. Two pictures taken a few years back at a book signing are included below. I will really miss her. She was so special and way too young to die. Goodbye, sweet Denise. You live on in my heart space and memories.
Changing subjects again…we have two new heart hugs that we think you’ll like. One is called “Be Mindful” to remind us to be aware of what we’re doing instead of just doing “whatever.” And the other one is called “Just Be Fair.” I thought we could put the “Just Be Fair” one on the kitchen counter to remind the next repairman to just be fair. But most of them are good guys, I guess, so it’s probably not a big deal. But just trying to look out for us.
From our last “session” last Friday, Kathy Viner said my song “Superman” had a positive influence on her to get out of a negative relationship, so thanks for telling me that, Kathy. I hope you’re happier now. And to Kim Beedle DiEsposti who has a 28-year-old son in a sub-acute facility, she is praying for his brain to “wake up,” so let’s join in prayer with her. I think it’s a good sign that a tear came down his cheek, Kim, so don’t give up. At least some of his senses are working. In the name of Jesus, may he wake up! We rebuke Satan, the author of sickness, and claim Kim’s son’s deliverance. Amen?
Well, I’ve kept you long enough, so I’ll sign off for now. Always know I believe in you, I care for you and I thank you for your friendship. Sending you love and hugs and positive wishes. Stay safe and healthy and happy.
Love you so much!
Donna
