Hey My Friday Follies Friends,

I hope you’re all doing well, and if you’re in an area that snowed on you, I’ll bet you’re enjoying the change of season. If you’re “free” and not confined like I am, you are probably getting ready for Christmas. Have fun, be careful and watch your back. From the reports, it seems like there are reasons to make special efforts for safety.

To update you about my “captivity,” I realized fairly early on that I needed to check my modesty at the door and find something to do while I learn to hurry up and wait. The injuries I incurred from the falls are proving more lessons on how to deal with physical pain. There are lots of kind, caring people here among the nurses and therapists who help. I’ve learned a lot about needles given in the stomach and adjusted to asking for help – sort of.

Thank you to all who have sent me cards, notes, beautiful gifts and flowers, along with all the Facebook comments. You have decorated this room and my heart space, and I appreciate your kindness so much. I worked while in here and will let you know soon about a surprise we cooked up for you.

Until then, you will be in my thoughts and prayers as always. I wish you more skippety do da days than you can count and more love, good health, and happiness than you can imagine.

To Linda and Brenda – I couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you so very much.

Love to all,

Donna
