Hey My Favorite Friends,
I’m so excited! I voted early! See my proof in the picture. I actually sneaked up on myself. I had planned to vote early, just not this early. I mean yesterday was the first day of early voting here in Nashville. I happened to be out and about and also to be in the area where I could vote early, so I did it! I love the fact that we have a voice in deciding who we think would be the best president for our country, so it really is an honor. It might sound corny, but it made me feel proud. I told our waiter at the restaurant where we ate that I was going to vote early and I encouraged him to vote. He wasn’t convinced, said he wasn’t going to, but you know me…I think I talked him into it. I asked him why he wouldn’t vote and he said it was “rigged,” that it didn’t matter. I said “Please do; it does matter.” I’m trusting that he will change his mind.
I hope you’re all doing great, staying healthy, loving what you’re doing and doing what you love. It’s really getting cold here in Music City, but, hey, we get to go shopping for some new fall clothes, huh, girls? Or at least put some old outfits together with something new so they feel and look different. That’s the way we girls are, you know. It’s all about the outfit.
Lordy, I’m just rambling, so I’ll tell you that we’re hard at work on the new calendar, and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s finished. In the meantime, thank you to those of you who have ordered my Blue Mountain Arts 2025 calendar GOD IS WITH YOU ALL THE TIME. It’s a good size to jot down appointments in, and each month has one of my writings from the different books or greeting cards I’ve written for them.
Well, I’d better get back to work. And go vote if you haven’t already! See you next Friday.
Love,
Donna
