Wow! It’s Friday again already and that means it’s time for Friday Follies, so here we go…
I can’t help thanking those of you again who came to the July 4th celebration in my hometown of Mt. Airy, NC. I know so many of you came by plane or drove long distances, and I think back on our conversations and smile. I wish we could have had more time to talk. It seemed like some of you hadn’t changed a bit. I remember the times I would see you in the autograph line at shows, or Fan Fair or at our fan club parties in the park. It was so good to see you all again! I’ve also heard from many of you who wanted to be there but couldn’t be. I thank you all for your support and good wishes.
All of you stirred up my feelings about loyalty. I’ve said that loyalty is my favorite virtue. The dictionary describes it as feelings of devoted attachment and affection. I think loyalty means a true test of friendship or relationship.
I want you to know that God did me such a favor when He put you in my life. You are all so sweet. Always there. Always loyal. I am so thankful for you. I prayed for you out loud today and wished you the best. I asked God to give you whatever you need and to answer your prayers. May you develop your spiritual selves and let your faith grow exceedingly. May disappointments never keep you down long enough to take away your hope and confidence. When you’re not happy with something about yourself, I hope you know you can change. But when you feel that you’re not always right, you’ll know you’re not always wrong either. To me you are unique and special, and I appreciate you all so much. I wish you blessings above and beyond anything you can imagine! Until next time…
Love,
Donna
